Each year, I compile my ideas from the previous year to help out any other parents looking for new ideas for your scout elf. I have found the Elf on the Shelf app to be quite helpful as well for intriguing ways to make the holiday season more magical.
Hope you enjoy the fun ideas we had last year, and Happy Elf Planning!

Last year, my boys and I decided to start the tradition of a Thanksgiving Pumpkin. So now it’s that time again, this year we decided to make a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Donatello to be specific. Apparently, they are fall festive….🤔. Nonetheless, my boys were so excited to make the Thanksgiving Pumpkin again. If you would like to know how to make your own Thanksgiving Pumpkin, click here!

Give me a reason in the fall to decorate a pumpkin and I’m on it! From my last post, I created a DIY Pumpkin Succulent Centerpiece. But, I can never have all of the fun decorating the house for Thanksgiving. The boys saw my Succulent Pumpkin and wanted to make a pumpkin for Thanksgiving as well. So with a few craft supplies, I had on hand we decide to create our Turkey Pumpkins. They had a blast creating them and giving them “flare.” (more…)
