Slow Cooker Apple Cider

Thanksgiving is almost here. Everyone is getting their recipes lined up for the holiday. In our family, nothing says Thanksgiving like hot apple cider. But, we can’t just have regular cider, what’s the fun in that!?! This recipe with combine all of the flavors of fall in one. It will also help keep you warm sipping by the fire after the Thanksgiving feast. The part I love about it the most is that it’s easy. Some mulled apple cider recipes can be a long process. Not they aren’t delicious but when I’m making all of the thanksgiving fixings, I want something easy in the menu. Key essential to making this tasty cider is a slow cooker. I love my slow cooker for so many reasons more that this. Irving Naxon, you are a genius. Slow cooking is a staple in my household. So throw your apron on, grab your slow cooker and lets make some cider!

Slow Cooker Apple Cider

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 3-4 hours

Servings: 12 cups

Ingredients:

1 gallon of Apple Cider

1 small bag of cranberries, whole

1 orange, sliced

1 lemon, sliced

1 apple, sliced

3 cinnamon sticks

4-5 whole cloves

1/4 tsp of nutmeg

1/4 tsp of allspice

Directions:

Put all of the ingredients in your slow cooker. Turn slow cooker on low and cook for 3-4 hours. Keep warm as long as needed on warm or low setting. Refrigerate leftovers. Reheats just fine.

Now how easy is that! Not only do you have a delicious beverage but guests will think you worked so hard making a mulled apple cider recipe.
