Blackberry Oatmeal Pancakes

Want to start your mornings off with a yummy treat that doesn’t take a ton of time to make? These pancakes are sure to start your day off right and take less than 20 mins to make.

Blackberry Oatmeal Pancakes

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 20 mins

Yield: 10 pancakes

Ingredients:

1/2 cups of flour

1/2 of cup quick cooking oats

1 Tbsp of sugar

1 tsp of baking powder

1/2 tsp of baking soda

1/2 tsp of salt

1/2 tsp of cinnamon

3/4 cup of butermilk

1 tsp of vanilla

2 Tsbp of vegetable oil

1 egg

1/2 cup of blackberries, chopped

Directions:

Mix flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, buttermilk, vanilla, cinnamon, oil, and egg together. Once combined add in the blackberries.

Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour the batter onto the pan, a 1/4 cup of batter per pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Top with apple butter or syrup.
