It’s been a fun-filled week so far. Bob showed up the day after Thanksgiving and brought his sister with him this year. The boys finally decided on her name. My oldest wanted to call her Sally and my second wanted to name her Hotdog. Neither would back down from their name choice so she became Sally Hotdog. For the Science Experiment of Exploding Snowmen you’ll need:
1 ziploc bag
Markers
Baking Soda
Vinegar
***WARNING***
You probably want to do this experiment in the kitchen sink to avoid a mess.
Directions:
Let your kids draw a snowman on the front of a ziploc bag. Add 1/2 cup of baking soda in the bag. Then pour one cup of vinegar in the bag. Quickly zip up the bag. Place in the sink and wait….
The carbon dioxide gas will build up in the ziploc bag and eventually make it explode open.
Tada! Exploding Snowman! Gotta love science!
