I Love You… Game

February is just around the corner. Each year, I like to play this game with my children and hubby. Starting February 1st all the way to Valentine’s Day, hang a paper heart on each one’s door. On the paper heart, write something you love about them. Last year, my boys were so excited to find out what was written each day and also wanted to help come up with what to say on my husband’s hearts. It spreads love and positivity. On Valentine’s Day I normally end with “I love you because you are you!” It’s a quote from one of our favorite books I read to the boys on a regular basis. Then on Valentine’s Day normally the boys will get a surprise with their last paper heart.

You could even do this with your staff or co-workers but change it from “I love…” to “I like…” or “You’re awesome because.” It would spread cheerfulness in the office and let your employees know how much you appreciate them.

If you try it out this year, I would love to know how it went. Here are the finished doors on Valentine’s Day last year.
