One of the first things that makes me think of Summer is popsicles. My boys have been obsessed with making popsicles and crafting this summer. I believe we have made every flavor of popsicles possible as well as added all different types of fresh fruit. Anything with bright colors and can be colored has also been a hit lately. This is a simple craft that can use so many different items to decorate, which makes it so much fun!
Popsicle Craft
What you’ll need:
Construction paper
Crayons
Glue
Foam Stickers
Pom Poms
Glitter Glue
Wooden craft sticks
Scissors
Directions:
Cut out your Popsicle shape to be decorated. It can be whatever shape you desire. Then, have your little ones color and design the Popsicle. The boys used a variety of crayons, Pom poms, glitter glue, and foam dinosaur stickers to decorate. Let it dry. Then, once dry, glue the wooden craft stick on the back. You can use one or two, depending on your design.
Such a simple craft, but multiple possibilities of how to design it and be creative. Creativity is important to help make life interesting! Have fun crafting!
