The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium was the place to be for some boot- scooting bluegrass last night. The crowd was in their best blue jeans and plaid. The show started at 8:00pm. Marty Stuart was the opening act and then Old Crow Medicine Show came out with a bang. Their lively and spirited performance had everyone up from their seats. The seven piece group put on a show like none other. I haven’t seen a concert so energetic. They promoted their new album, “Remedy,” but yet still played all the crowd favorites such as “Humdinger,” “Carry Me Back to Virginia,” and “Wagon Wheel.” The show lasted almost til 11:30pm including an encore performance with Marty Stuart invited to join the band. If you weren’t able to go last night, you missed an exciting show by some very talented musicians. Hopefully, Old Crow will be coming back to Chattanooga very soon!
